If you’re a driver in Thailand, then you know that car insurance is a must. Not only is it the law, but it’s also a necessary part of protecting yourself, your passengers, and your assets in the event of an accident. While there are a variety of car insurance companies operating in Thailand, not all of them offer apps that make it easy to manage your policy and submit claims.
When I think of Thailand, I think of a country that is very technologically advanced. So, I was surprised to learn that there are actually fewer insurance apps available in Thailand than I would have thought. There are several reasons for this. First, the Thai insurance market is still relatively new and undeveloped. There are only a handful of insurers operating in the country, and they have not yet invested heavily in developing digital channels. Finally, many Thais still prefer to buy insurance through offline channels such as agents or brokers. However, this is changing as more and more Thais become comfortable with using mobile apps for other purposes such as banking and shopping. I believe that we will see more insurance apps becoming available in Thailand in the near future. In this blog post, we’ll take a look at some of the best car insurance apps currently available in Thailand: Roojai, Go, Cigna Anywhere.
Roojai.com is a Thailand-based car insurance mobile application that offers convenience and security to its users. One of its innovative functions is the Car Inspection through video call that allows users to have their cars inspected quickly and easily. Another function is the Report a claim with real time GPS tracking that allows users to track surveyors in real time without worrying about how much longer they have to wait. The Request 24/7 breakdown assistance service is also useful for users who need assistance with their car problems. Whether your car broke down, ran out of petrol, lost a key or had battery problems, the Roojai.com team will be there to help you. With these convenient and innovative functions, Roojai.com makes sure that your car insurance experience is hassle-free.
The Cigna Anywhere Mobile app is designed for easy and convenient access to insurance information for Cigna Thailand customers. The app provides users with a summary of their coverage, as well as the ability to view and update their contact information and policy details. In addition, the app also includes a range of tools to help customers manage their health, including a symptom checker, doctor locator, and medication reminder. The Cigna Anywhere Mobile app is available for both iOS and Android devices, and can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play.
For me this app is not great for multi language and I had quite a few bugs, but once overcome it is quite good if more health insurance focused.
The Krungsri Auto insurance app provides users with access to a range of insurance products, including motor insurance, PA and health insurance. The app also allows users to view and select special campaigns from the Krungsri Auto group’s product range.
The app provides customers with access to their loan details, payment history and the ability to make loans and loan-related payments using QR code, barcode or by linking to KMA. This makes it easy for customers to manage their auto loans. Overall however this is not really insurance focused and really pushes loans, like you might expect from a bank.
I would recommend the Roojai app for anyone looking for a car insurance app in Thailand. Although both it and Cigna’s app offer a good range of features Roojai is by far the easiest to use. If you are looking for an app that is more focused on loans, then the Krungsri Auto app might be worth considering.
When it comes to choosing a car insurance provider in Thailand, there are a lot of different factors to consider. However, if having a mobile app is important to you, then you should definitely check out Roojai and Cigna. Both companies offer great apps that make it easy to manage your policy and submit claims, but Roojai has a fresher feel and has a directory of garages should something go wrong.
